Hi, I am Ewa Highland

— a wedding and family photographer based in Stockholm, available wherever love, laughter, and connection take me. Since 2015, I’ve had the privilege of documenting life’s most cherished moments with a timeless, artistic, and candid approach.

I live together with my husband Andrew and our dogs. In our family we have a horse too.

My work blends digital and analog photography, and I often bring along my vintage 8mm film camera for those truly nostalgic, cinematic touches. Whether I’m photographing a barefoot elopement by the sea, a grand countryside wedding, or a quiet afternoon at home with a newborn and a wagging tail — my goal is always the same: to create images that feel real, emotional, and lasting.

I’m known for my relaxed and comforting presence. I gently guide when needed, but my favorite photos are the unposed, in-between moments — a glance, a laugh, a hug. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in working both in Sweden and abroad, and I love working with children, dogs, and horses. Making everyone feel comfortable — from toddlers to grandparents to four-legged family members — is central to me in my work.

I offer a variety of packages for:

  •  Weddings: full-day coverage, elopements, destination weddings, or a few intimate hours

  •  Family Sessions: maternity, newborn, lifestyle, outdoor adventures, or at-home documentaries

All packages include an online gallery with edited photos. Selected packages also include fine art prints, albums and wall art. I work solo or with a second shooter or assistant, depending on the scope of your day.

Photography, for me, is not just about pictures — it’s about preserving emotion, connection, and legacy. Because some moments truly are too beautiful not to cherish forever.
